TC Liew

TC Liew, a dedicated Visual Art Lecturer, finds solace in the quietude of existence, drawing inspiration from keen observations of life. He wholeheartedly embraces the concept of tabula rasa, returning to the fundamental principles of art. TC derives immense satisfaction from imparting the profound lessons he’s learned from nature to those who are eager to delve deeper beyond the superficial layers of painting. TC Liew is a versatile artist who employs cross-media approaches in his work. His creations have found a permanent place in esteemed institutions such as the National Visual Art Gallery of Malaysia, Tuanku Fauziah Museum and Gallery of USM (MGTF USM), Penang State Museum and Art Gallery, Muzium Negeri Terengganu, Tanjong Public Limited Company (Usaha Tegas), Top-art School of The Art, and Kelantan Royal Collection. In recognition of his exceptional talent, TC Liew was honored with the Juror Award at the Malaysia National Visual Art Gallery Bakat Muda Sezaman (Young Contemporary Award) in 2013. Presently, TC Liew is affiliated with several educational institutions, including the Education Faculty at UiTM Puncak Alam, the School of Design at Saito University College, and the Faculty of Art & Design at New Era University College.
